My Engagement

Friday night was starting out very typical.  I was at my friend Katie's apartment for a gift exchange and Ted was off working. It became very interesting fast when I was recieving text messages early in the evening that he was going to be out early and I needed to be ready by 9:15 sharp. The only hint as to where we were heading was Pints & Quarts, which he said would hold a table for us. While driving, Ted said he was going to"take the back way" which the phrase always leads to a surprise.  It sure was, because as we were walking around he went down to one knee and asked me to look at the sign. I said, YES! Starting to put together why a group was watching us in the window, I come to realize his whole family was waiting in the private party room at C.F. Prime Chophouse &Wine bar. Overall, he surprised me. There was a sign, snow, family,champaign, roses, and the beautiful RING.  What an unforgettable night before Christmas Eve.
