Full House

After a holiday engagement comes the celebrations. I had no idea how busy the holidays could be until now. I'm not complaining, by all means, I am loving the break in between everyone's hectic schedules to just stop and see loved ones. The day after Christmas I woke up and spent one on one alone time with my Fiance in pajamas, snuggled on the couch while watching a cooking show. We parted ways and I went back to my Grandma's full house of my aunt, uncle, and my two younger cousins. The title for the post is because my BEST FRIEND, Laura of 24 years has grown up with me and she could not have stopped over at a better time. It was a little blast from the past because when we were the kids in the house my mother and grandmother would be the ones taking care of us. Time has just flown by us and we are still in eachothers lives as adults, which amazes me. This only makes sense that she will be my Maid of Honor.

My Christmas eve celebration started at 4 o'clock for mass at Sacred Heart with Ted's side and afterwards we met at his sister and brother in law's house for drinks. The party moved to "papa's" house for gifts in which, I recieved a beautiful and gigantic ornament in the shape of an engagment ring from my future mother in law. His cousin also was in on the Christmas Engagement gift because she gave us a personalized and dated ornament. The last one was my first "L" to go on our future tree, which was from his sister in law. Christmas morning I woke up at my parents house for our "little" exchange, because I am the only child! My mom still spoils me. The rest of the day was spent at my Grandma's with our immediate family and Ted was able to join for dinner and gifts. After the three long days, Ted and I both could feel a difference and complete natural sense of our lives being right where they should be.
