I feel as if the marketing, commericals, word of mouth, and magazine ads have all influenced us to celebrate the holiday season earlier and earlier every year. I am not complaining. I made sure to try out every ritual that comes along with celebrating. Wednesday night before Thanksgiving I was out at the bar, Thursday I was stuffing my face, same night I went to see a movie, and Friday I was out shopping in the wee hours of the morning. Since then, I have been busy decorating, wrapping, baking, and shopping. I most looking foward to the actual special day, Jesus' Birthday! If we are celebrating the holiday, let's not forget who we are celebrating and why.
